Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this model if you need high pressure without a long extension cord. The 3200 PSI rating handles driveways, decks, and siding effectively. The ability to draw from any fresh water source makes it useful for remote areas. The included foam cannon and multiple nozzles suit detailed cleaning jobs. The cordless design reduces trip hazards and setup time, making it ideal for users who value mobility and quick deployment.
Who should skip it
You might look elsewhere if you require continuous operation for large commercial jobs. The cordless design means you must manage battery swaps to keep working. The 36.2-pound weight includes the battery, which may feel heavy during extended overhead use. If you need higher flow rates than 2.0 GPM for rapid area coverage, a gas-powered unit may be more efficient. The lack of a built-in tank means you must connect to a water source or use the siphon hose.
Verdict: The EGO HPW3200 delivers strong 3200 PSI cleaning power in a portable, cordless package. It suits homeowners who want high performance without the hassle of cords or gas.
Key specs explained for EGO
Maximum Pressure 3200 PSI
This value indicates the force the pump can generate. You will use this high pressure to strip away caked-on dirt, grease, and mildew from driveways and decks. It is suitable for heavy-duty tasks. When shopping, compare this to electric models that often top out at 2000 PSI. Higher PSI generally means faster cleaning on tough surfaces, though you must adjust your nozzle distance to avoid surface damage.
Flow Rate 2.0 GPM max
Gallons per minute measures how much water the unit moves. A 2.0 GPM flow rate helps rinse away debris quickly after you have loosened it. This is a strong figure for a cordless electric pressure washer. You will notice the difference when cleaning large areas like patios. Compare this to standard garden hose flow rates, which are often lower. Higher flow rates reduce the number of passes you need to make.
Power Source Cordless
This means the unit runs on removable batteries rather than a plug-in cord. You gain freedom to move around your yard without dragging an extension cord or worrying about outlet distance. It is ideal for locations far from your house. Compare this to gas models, which offer similar mobility but require more maintenance. You will need to manage battery charge levels during extended cleaning sessions.
Weight 36.2 pounds
This is the total weight of the pressure washer unit itself. At 36.2 pounds, it is heavy enough to feel stable during operation but light enough for one person to carry. You can lift it into a car trunk or move it up stairs. Compare this to gas pressure washers, which often weigh over 50 pounds. The lighter weight makes it easier to store in a garage or shed when not in use.
Design and build overview
The EGO Power+ HPW3200 is a gray unit that measures 20.9 inches in length, 15 inches in width, and 25.4 inches in height. According to the listing, it weighs 36.2 pounds. This weight makes it manageable for most users to carry, though you may want to use the integrated handle for longer distances. The telescopic handle pulls out for easy transport and collapses for compact storage. This layout allows you to move the machine around your property or store it in a small garage without taking up excessive space.
The control layout centers on the wand, which features an integrated display. This screen shows your battery charge status wirelessly. You can select from ECO, High, and Turbo modes directly on the wand. This design keeps your hands on the controls without needing to reach back to the main unit. The quick connection points for the hose and wand allow for easy setup and breakdown. You can attach and detach components quickly, which reduces the time spent preparing for a cleaning job.
The finish is a durable gray plastic construction. This material choice helps keep the unit lightweight while providing resistance to outdoor elements. The included accessories, such as the stainless steel wand and flexible high-pressure hose, complement the main body. The quick-connect short pressure washer gun adds to the convenience. You can set up the system and start cleaning within minutes. The design prioritizes portability and ease of use for cordless operation.
Setup and everyday use
Setting up this cordless pressure washer is designed to be quick. The unit features quick connection points for both the hose and the wand. This allows you to assemble the tool and break it down with minimal effort. You do not need to worry about complex fittings or long assembly times. The telescopic handle pulls out for easy transport and collapses for compact storage. This makes moving the 36.2-pound unit simple. You can carry it to different areas of your yard or store it in a small garage space.
For daily use, the system offers three cleaning modes: ECO, High, and Turbo. You can select the mode that best fits the task at hand. A wand-integrated display lets you view the battery charge status wirelessly. This helps you plan your work without guessing how much power remains. The washer connects to a standard garden hose for water supply. It can also draw from any fresh water source using the included siphon hose. This flexibility is useful if you are cleaning in areas without easy hose access.
The unit works with all EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries. This compatibility means you can use existing batteries from other tools in the EGO platform. The package includes a flexible high-pressure hose, a quick-connect short gun, a quick-connect wand lance, a stainless steel wand, a foam cannon, a filter, and five nozzles. These accessories cover a range of cleaning needs, from rinsing to heavy scrubbing.
Before You Buy This EGO
Before you buy this EGO Power+ HPW3200, ensure you have two compatible 56V ARC Lithium batteries. The unit relies on PEAK POWER TECHNOLOGY, which combines two batteries to reach its stated 3200 PSI and 2.0 GPM flow rate. Without both batteries, performance will be limited. You should also check your garden hose compatibility for the water inlet. The listing notes it can connect to a standard hose or draw from fresh water sources using the included siphon hose. Keep the included filters clean to maintain flow. This cordless model fits well alongside gas-powered options in the 1 products reviewed here. It offers portability without a power cord but requires battery management. Store batteries indoors during winter to preserve capacity. This unit suits users who value mobility and quick setup over continuous, unlimited runtime. It is ideal for patios, decks, and vehicles where cord management is difficult.
